Appointments - Please make every effort to schedule well child appointments at least a week in advance. This allows us to offer same day appointments for sick children.
- If you are running more than 15 minutes late, you will be given the next available appointment time.
- If siblings of the patient need to be seen as well, please schedule an appointment for them. This is only fair to the other patients who will be waiting.
- For cancelations, please call if you are unable to make your appointment. A $20 fee will be charged for missed appointments without due notice.
Telephone Calls - We currently do not charge a fee for calls during or after hours. In order to be able to continue this practice, please help us with a few guidelines.
- Medication refills need to be requested during office hours only.
- Keep a list of questions to bring with you to your appointments. This helps to prevent forgotten questions.
- Bring any forms that you need completed with you to your child's appointment.
Prescription Refills - Refills for ADHD medications have to be picked up at the office. Please call 48 hours prior, and we will have your prescription ready. For all other refill requests, please have your pharmacy fax us a refill authorization.
Antibiotics will not be refilled nor will they be called out over the phone. Due to the increasing incidence of antibiotic resistance, it is important that your child be seen to determine if an antibiotic is indicated and ensure the proper one is selected. This will decrease the likelihood that your child could develop antibiotic resistance.
Financial Policy - Our goal is to provide and maintain a good physician - patient relationship. In order to reduce confusion and misunderstanding between our patients and practice, we have adopted certain financial policies (see link below). If you have any questions regarding these policies, please discuss them with our office manager.
